Implant maintenance plan
Dental implants are intended to last for a lifetime. However, as with any surgical procedure, failures can and do occur. Also with constant usage components can work loose or occasionally a breakage may occur.
We guarantee all of our implants and components for a year after completion of the work. If something should go wrong we will replace and restore the implant at no additional cost to you; should you not wish to have this carried out, we will refund all the fees that you have paid relating to the implant and its related components (not examination or treatment planning fees or fees for other services or treatments).
Your peace of mind
After a year, you may wish to have the security of knowing that should something happen, you will not be out of pocket for repairs to, or a replacement of your implant and the associated crown. That's where our Implant Maintenance Plan' takes over.
For a small monthly payment, you will be completely covered for any costs related to correcting failures to your implant and the related components.
The monthly Implant Maintenance Plan fees are:
- 1 - 2 implants - £29.85 per month
- 3 - 4 implants - £34.65 per month
- 5+ implants - £39.95 per month
What do we cover?
You are covered for treatments that we can provide relating to problems with the dental implant or its components. This includes;
- Assessment costs
- Radiographs
- Temporary restorations
- Replacement implant and components
- Surgery costs and surgical disposable items
- Clinical time in the case of denture relines or adjustments. You will be responsible for all the dental laboratory costs involved with dentures. The supporting bone and gums under dentures changes with time and relines are occasionally required as a normal course of events.
What is not covered?
- Damage due to external trauma.
- Failure due to oral hygiene neglect, smoking, and/or alcohol and drug abuse.
- Failure due to medical conditions, e.g. diabetes, or the treatments for those conditions, e.g. radiotherapy, chemotherapy, medical drugs.
- Treatment for 'normal wear and tear'.
- Treatment for any problem that was identified as an increased or probable risk at the time of implant placement.
- Treatment for cosmetic reasons.
- Costs of having treatment carried out by other dentists or specialist practitioners.
The small print
An initial administration fee will be collected with your first payment.
Our insurance policy includes:
- Worldwide Dental Trauma Insurance to protect against the cost of large unforseen accidental damage
- Emergency Callout Insurance should you need to see a dentist at an emergency anywhere in the world.
- Redundancy Protection for your monthly payments for up to 12 months.
